Gail E. Horowitz and Ellen K. Wade congratulate Michelle B. LaPointe on joining us, as of January 1, 2011, as a partner in Wade Horowitz LaPointe LLC, located in Coolidge Corner.  Michelle started with the firm as a law student and formally joined the firm in 2004.  Her partnership reflects her invaluable contributions to the firm and zealous representation of her clients.  Michelle’s work is recognized in the wider legal community, particularly in the area of long term care planning.  The founding partners, Gail E. Horowitz and Ellen K. Wade are looking forward to working together with her as partners.

Before attending law school, Attorney LaPointe worked on several local, state, and federal political campaigns, served on the board of the LGBT Political Alliance of Massachusetts, and she worked at the Massachusetts chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Attorney LaPointe is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and speaks regularly on issues surrounding Medicaid planning with a focus on special needs trusts.
